Prestige Garage Doors was founded in October 1989 by David Powell and was originally based in Horndean. However, we quickly moved to Hayling Island in the early 1990’s where we have remained ever since. David built the business himself from scratch and quickly established Prestige as a leader in supplying quality garage doors and providing excellent customer service throughout Hampshire and surrounding areas. Having enjoyed days at work with his Dad during school holidays, Simon Powell joined his Father in July 2002. Prestige Garage Doors became a Father & Son team from there on!

Over 30 years of experience

Together, we built further our reputation for quality and service and have continued to do so for over 30 years! David partially retired in 2016 but still retains an admin role. Simon, now a family man himself with two young Daughters, continues to move the business forward along with a small but highly experienced team of installers. Collectively, we combine over 60 years of experience and in depth knowledge, meaning we can confidently carry out a full range of services from garage door repairs and automation through to complete garage door replacement. Throughout the years, Prestige Garage Doors have maintained their family values and this translates to genuine friendly service with a smile, every time!
